Setup

Install is boring on purpose. That is the point.

Install Solara Executor: extract, exclusions, admin, wait for the place, attach. Most “broken runner” reports are incomplete extracts, an early attach, or Defender. Walk the list once.

  1. Download from the official download page only.
  2. Extract the full ZIP with 7-Zip or WinRAR into a short path such as C:\Tools\Solara.
  3. If Windows Defender quarantines the files, add that folder to exclusions. See antivirus notes.
  4. Start Roblox Player, join any place, and wait until you can move.
  5. Right-click Solara Executor and choose Run as administrator.
  6. Attach, then open a Lua file you actually trust.
Do not attach during the loading screen. Wait for the world. Early attach is the usual failure, not a “dead build.”
